Let the Journey Begin!
Embark on a transformative experience with the Gracie Barra Instructor Certification Program (ICP). With a history spanning over a decade, ICP has empowered thousands of instructors and school owners to thrive in the world of Jiu-Jitsu.
Developed by Master Carlos Gracie Jr., ICP is a comprehensive learning platform dedicated to ensuring that every Gracie Barra team member embodies our philosophies, principles, and world-class leadership and teaching practices. In 2023, ICP has undergone careful planning and restructuring to deliver its most impactful program yet!
Excitingly, we are introducing the ICP Legacy Model for recertification. If you were previously certified with the 2021 or 2022 ICP, you now have the opportunity to take the ICP Legacy—a shorter version of the program that aligns Legacy Instructors with the principles of Gracie Barra in less time. Demonstrating your competence through the exam remains a requirement, and you can access the full ICP for a comprehensive review or to explore any new courses or content changes.
Discover the three stages of the ICP curriculum, covering essential aspects of the Gracie Barra educational system, teaching tools, and leadership principles. At the end of each stage, test your knowledge through a comprehensive exam, ensuring your full understanding of the content.
In addition, we are excited to introduce a groundbreaking course, Jiu-Jitsu for Women - GBF. This course equips instructors and school owners with the knowledge and tools to promote and build a strong women's program within their schools. Gain insights into motivating, communicating with, and inspiring women who train, and learn effective marketing strategies to attract and retain female students.
ICP 2023 goes beyond being just an online course. It now offers a revamped learning experience, featuring expert webinars at the end of each stage, instructors workshops to develop a great team of instructors at your school, and the ICP Hub—a mentorship group led by GB school owners where instructors can share knowledge and learn from one another. Additionally, enjoy continued education opportunities to further enhance your professional and leadership development.
The journey awaits you! Join Gracie Barra ICP 2023 and unlock a world of knowledge, inspiration, and empowerment to take your Jiu-Jitsu journey and career to new heights.
