This week's Guard Bottom techniques are part of the GB2 No-Gi module with Prof. Roberto Tussa Alencar

In our first video, Prof. Tussa attacks with the classic Situp / Kimura sweep from his closed guard and sets up an omoplata sweep when the opponent counters.
Note the detail that Prof. Tussa gets a grip on the opponent's elbow and TURNS the arm forward while moving into the omoplata position. This helps put the opponent's upper body down to the mat and finish the omoplata lock.

Our 2nd video we see Prof. Tussa use a different gripping combination known by some as the "Rubber Guard" which is great way to control the posture of your opponent.
Pay attention to how Prof. Tussa weaves his hands inside his own leg to tighten up the grip and control on the opponent's shoulder. This is very heavy for the guard passer to fight to maintain his posture!
Special tip: With the opponent's posture broken like this, there are a number of possible attacks. Prof. Tussa shows how he transitions to a tight triangle choke.
